roof ladder bracket parts
I need advice as to where to buy the inserts that are used to attach the roof ladder to the back of the rv. I have one that has rusted through and need a replacement. These are small pieces of expanders that fit inside the bracket tubing on the ladder and have the long screws going through one of them on each side of the bracket. My motorhome has eight brackets of varying length on it. Camping World doesn't know what I'm talking about....interesting....Any help on a source for them would be appreciated.

RE: Full Body Paint - Anyone know the cost?
I am getting it done right now and the price is in the 10,000 to 11,000 range for full paint and graphics, plus some interior work. They've had the coach almost two month...lots of labor intensive work for slick job, plus they've been very busy because of their reputation for good work. You'd be surprised how many people think that's too much because they relate everything to the cheapo ads and come ons on tv and radio. Great work costs lots of money. Ours is a 32 with one slide and just 42,000 miles on it...better than buying new to have it repainted. Good luck
full body paint and graphics
I had an estimate on having my '96 32 ft. Rexhall class A with 42K on it repainted with full body paint and painted graphics. Also, I will have new draperies with a new track installed on the windshield area, a full roof reseal and paint, a new slide topper (material replacement), the ceiling liner (carpet) re done (mastic). The estimate was 10,000 dollars....from a shop with a great reputation. Does that sound like a competitive bid?
Generac 55K Genset carb. fuel hose replacement?
I have a dripping fuel hose on my generac 55K generator. I have taken the four bolts on the air filter bracket out, but still find that the bracket will not release to allow me access to the line for replacement. Any ideas what's holding it on and what I have to do to get the job done?
Be careful when purchasing roadside service policy
I have Good Sam VIP roadside service even though I have AAA for my accident insurance and along with it, AAA roadside service. Even the Premium AAA service will pay just up to 300.00 per tow. A towing service won't even look at my class A 34' Rexhall for that amount of money, especially if it needs to flatbedded on a lowboy for any distance to a repair facility that can handle motorhomes. VIP has no price limits, will just take the RV to a dealer that is able to work on it. To be safe, not sorry, carefully read your policies. When I broke down years ago because of a fuel pump, my coach had to be lowboyed fifty miles to a dealer under the chassis warranty, so I didn't have to pay anything, but it has made a believer out of me to carry adequate towing insurance for the rig as opposed to the towing coverages needed for my autos.
